CardForge

Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of CardForge.

Effective date: 19 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CardForge platform for playing and creating card games (the "Service"), operated by CardForge Games UK Ltd ("CardForge", "we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use the Service and to consent to the processing of your data under the laws of your country. We use your date of birth to confirm eligibility and to apply age-appropriate content filtering. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You agree to provide accurate information (including a genuine date of birth) and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly at admin@cardforge.uk if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

3. Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate these Terms.
  • Upload, create or share content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or otherwise harmful.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts.
  • Misrepresent your age, impersonate others, or interfere with other players' games.
  • Use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or automated abuse.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Games and user content

The Service lets you create, save and share games and related content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of the User Content you create. By sharing User Content (for example via a share link or by making a game available to other players), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute that content solely to operate and provide the Service.

You are responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights to it. We do not routinely review User Content, but we may remove content that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably consider harmful.

5. Coins and purchases

The Service uses in-game "coins". You can receive coins through periodic free claims and purchase additional coins through packs. Payments are processed by Stripe. Coins:

  • Have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable.
  • Are licensed to you for use within the Service, not sold as property.
  • May be required to start certain games; some games are free to play.

Except where required by law, purchases of coins are final and non-refundable. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, your statutory cancellation and refund rights are not affected; note that once digital content is delivered and consumed with your consent, the statutory right to cancel may no longer apply. We may change coin pricing, pack contents, claim amounts, or game costs at any time.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we provide it "as is" and do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, suspend or remove features (including games, templates or online play) at any time. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the Service or other users. Some provisions — including those on User Content licensing, liability and governing law — survive termination.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that User Content created by others is accurate, appropriate, or lawful.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
